With a positive outlook for the oil and gas market comes investment in new capital equipment, as well as refurbishment of old equipment to ensure the maximum lifetime value. With rigs operating sometimes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the constant wear and fatigue on the equipment causes corrosion, galling threads, ineffective seals, or worse.

The o-ring on the hydraulic cylinder provides a fundamental protection if it maintains proper dimension.

But what do you do when your o-ring groove is out of dimension or damaged? Reaching these unique areas is not practical for your typical surface General components of audit program techniques such as tank plating.

In order to remain competitive, one must look for innovative ways to reduce costs while simultaneously reducing downtime and keep their equipment running longer. You can watch the webinar On-Demand!

Business Review Webinars will be hosting the on-demand webinar on their site until November To register, click here: Alongside this, Sarah will employ her in-depth knowledge of corrosion to evaluate the use of other passivates, ultimately extending the service life of the deposit.

She developed her industry experience during her time researching in an engineering co-op with the Lubrizol Corporation on industrial coatings and resins. Originally built inthis is first major site renovation, designed to give research engineers a spacious, practical and durable facility in which to conduct vital research and development work.

We are also busy characterizing our existing product offering through depletion testing while continuing to build our knowledge base on coatings like matrix composite plating. Subjects covered include alternatives to hard chrome, automation of selective plating, and component restoration for remanufacturing.

The annual conference, this year held at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland, allows leading surface technology companies to connect, collaborate and contribute to industry developments.

CHAPTER 203*

Throughout the event, multiple technical sessions will be held on the topics of automotive, aerospace, technology advancements, sustainability and waste management. In her presentation, she will review the developmental research of safer, eco-friendly alternatives to hard chrome plating.

Alternatives to chrome in the form of MMC, offer unique and superior characteristics to metal plating solutions including hardness, wear resistance, and oxidation protection at high temperatures.

In his presentation, on June 6 from 8: The presentation will include data, video and imagery of a newly-developed, dual-spindled ID plating machine.

For over 50 years SIFCO ASC has provided selective electroplating and anodizing services, chemical solutions and equipment, offering automated plating systems that can be easily integrated into any production line. A global leader in the industry, SIFCO ASC hopes to provide a deeper understanding to the challenges that face the industry and innovative ways to overcome them.

He will be a driving force in maximizing new commercial and technical development opportunities for the business. I look forward to continued success from our renewed agreement.

Safran Landing Systems formerly Messier-Bugatti-Dowty is a world leading manufacturer of landing gear systems and has a focus on providing solutions which are not only reliable and robust, but increasingly weight efficient and environmentally responsible, providing overall value across an aircraft program.

Demanding aerospace operating conditions present continual surface finishing challenges for manufacturers.

Components need to be able to withstand friction, extreme temperatures and corrosive environments while continuing to operate at optimum levels.

For Safran Landing Systems, one particular challenge came in the form of a landing gear bogie beam design. Landing gear design includes a stop-pad between the bogie beam and vertical part of the component to prevent wear as it is retracted into the fuselage. However, this impact results in potential wear at the interface, with a further risk of atmospheric corrosion.

A design modification was agreed involving the application of a nickel chrome electrolytic protective treatment. However, this had never been done before and would require significant engineering expertise. In order to achieve the results demanded by the aerospace specifications, the two teams embarked upon a collaborative research project.

Initial work began at the end of Safran tested the nickel material in its specialist facility under simulated take-off and landing conditions. Once it was confirmed that the material was suitable in earlySIFCO began work on designing the robotic system.

The integrated computer logs all of the relevant information including: It currently processes 30 bogie beams per month and the team is looking to expand its use into other areas of the company. Consistent plating uniformity has been achieved using this process, standing up to the robustness of the necessary qualification testing.

The presentation will review the evolution of selective plating electroplating localized areas on components without the use of an immersion tank into an automated process. From, computer program control of voltage and time to a robotic arm used to move the electrode — SPC charts of the deposit properties measured on production parts using automation show that both stages resulted in substantially improved process capability.

Through videos and case studies, Kilgore will demonstrate how attendees can achieve consistent quality, reduce production costs and optimize their operation through automated selective plating.

By automating the process, SIFCO ASC has introduced an ideal alternative for manufacturers looking to enhance the surfaces of higher volume and complex geometry production components. The process also reduces costs by improving production efficiency, flexibility, coating quality and repeatability.

Until the manufacturer allows alternatives, our hands are tied.Additionally, having a program like this in place makes sure that any problems are discovered promptly and reported to the correct person. Main components of audit programme will include the objectives, procedures and conclusion of each audit work performed.

The organization must conduct internal audits at planned intervals to provide information on whether the environmental management system conforms to the requirements of ISO standards, its own requirements for its environmental management system and also to check whether.

The Medicare Fee for Service (FFS) Recovery Audit Program’s mission is to identify and correct Medicare improper payments through the efficient detection and collection of overpayments made on claims of health care services provided to Medicare beneficiaries, and the identification of underpayments to providers so that the CMS can implement actions that will prevent future improper payments.

IT general controls (ITGC) are controls that apply to all systems, components, processes, and data for a given organization or information technology (IT) environment. The objectives of ITGCs are to ensure the proper development and implementation of applications, as well as the integrity of programs, data files, and computer operations.
